The cause of the crash is still under investigation, but the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) has said that it is likely that the aircraft experienced a catastrophic failure. The aircraft had been cleared to land at Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport, but it suddenly veered off course and crashed into the ground.
This crash is the deadliest aviation accident in Malaysia since 2015, and it has raised concerns about the safety of private aviation in the country.
